In addition to this, it features a sleek, low-profile look, and the latches double as handles when opening. Each latch is equipped with a lock for additional security, and all the locks are keyed alike, which means less time accessing your gear when you need it quickly. We recently had the opportunity to upfit the vehicle of Chief Frank Beatrice with the Knightstown, Indiana Police Department. Before Chief Beatrice received his upgraded Storage Box and Auxiliary Drawer package, he wasn’t utilizing any in-vehicle storage solution. This resulted in most of Chief Beatrice’s equipment and gear sliding around in the cargo area of his vehicle. Chief Beatrice wanted a compact and low-profile storage solution that would efficiently store his gear, as well as his weapons, while also providing quick and easy access to those items. The two adjustable dividers in the Storage Box made a customizable interior configuration possible to best fit his storage needs. The upgraded latching mechanism provided a heavy-duty and secure system, allowing him to safely store his weapons and other equipment.
